Posted on 07/02/2015

After our Alpharetta, GA orthodontist, Dr. Malone, places braces on your teeth, you are told about the hazards of eating certain foods that can damage or break your braces. We tell you to steer clear of hard, crunchy, chewy, gooey, and sticky foods for the duration of your treatment to ensure that your brackets and wires remain intact.

Now that we are officially in summer, it's time to get together with family and friends at outdoor picnics and barbecues. When you're wearing braces, it can seem as though you cannot enjoy many of the great summer foods, such as corn-on-the cob.

However, there are many great foods you can enjoy while wearing braces! To prove it, we're sharing these braces-friendly recipes with you here. The great thing about these recipes is that they're fast and easy to make. Plus they're so delicious even your friends and family not wearing braces will want to enjoy them with you!
