Introducing Plaque HD

Introducing Plaque HD
Posted on 03/06/2015

One of the main challenges that many orthodontic patients experience is keeping their teeth clean. We all know the importance of good oral hygiene, especially while in braces, but sometimes despite our best efforts, we fall just a little short. Almost daily in our office we see patients who brush diligently at the brushing station and return to the chair with a big smile of accomplishment. – until we have to point out the areas where they didn’t quite reach. Sorry guys – we hate to do it, but as the saying goes: “It’s for your own good,” and “This is going to hurt me more than it will hurt you,” and, well, you get the idea. However, we do live in the new millennium and with that comes many perks. Here’s one of them: Plaque HD.

How It Works

Plaque HD is a revolutionary plaque-identifying toothpaste that uses Targetol Technology™ to turn plaque on your teeth a bright green color so you can easily identify where you need to focus your brushing. Once you have thoroughly brushed away all of the green, your teeth will be clean and plaque-free. By practicing regular brushing with the easy-to-use PLAQUE HD™ formula, you can protect your orthodontic investment by fighting cavities (and freshening breath – which is always good), and helping to prevent gum disease. Now that’s a true accomplishment!

Also, PLAQUE HD toothpaste can be used by anyone, with or without braces. Our team here at Malone Orthodontics uses it, including Dr. Malone. We love that it’s gluten-free!

PLAQUE HD™ is only sold at participating dental and orthodontic offices, and we are excited to offer it to our patients at Malone Orthodontics. Help to keep your teeth and gums as healthy as possible between professional cleanings by brushing regularly with PLAQUE HD toothpaste.
